Isolated and alone at the edge of the Arctic Circle, Iceland does not bow to the cold and loneliness that its location pushes upon it. Instead, it remains vibrant, mystical and unique, a land of dynamism and life. Ice washes onto black sand beaches. Fire springs from moss covered ground. Elves stop construction of highways. And Polar Bears occasionally swim ashore.
