Baranof Crossing

Sitka, Alaska is the second largest city by land area in the United States. It covers 2874 square miles of temperate rain forest, rock and ice, but has only 9000 residents. Walking from one side of town to the other is not easy. In fact, the Baranof Crossing as it is known, is a right of passage. It’s not so much a trail as a vision.
